"What drives me every day is to get better. The game of hockey keeps getting faster and quicker, so for me to be better I have to put more work in. I have to work on my skating, work on my shot, work on my skills, I think that's what drives me every day to be better and try to leave the rink with something that I learned in practice. Whether it's something major or only a little detail, I want to gain something that I use tomorrow! These small improvements will make me a better hockey player."
- James Wong, 12-Year Old Aspiring Pro, Toronto, ON.
"Hockey is something I am crazy about because it is my favourite thing to do every single day. I’ve been lucky to have so many amazing coaches like Jeremy Rupke and Zac Bell. I can play hockey with my friends which is very awesome. I have HockeyShot Synthetic Ice in my driveway and basement which helps me practice my skating, stickhandling and shooting at home after school. All my friends come over because they love hockey too or some just to hang out and watch us play. It is great to see them and have fun together playing a game that we all have a passion for. Living just outside Toronto means I am in hockey country and cheer for the Maple Leafs. Auston Mathews is my favorite player and I try to practice whenever I can and pretend to be him or Mitch Marner."
